Horsies

I built this website to present a topic I love: Horses!

I've been riding for about 3 months now. I'll start with the...

Bridle. It's really hard to get on for a beginner. So, don't push yourself. Also,
the night before you ride, think over the steps. That helped me. I still have some
problems.

Cantering. Boy, did it take me time to get over trotting because one day I fell off. But
cantering is a whole new story. First of all, NEVER, NEVER freak out. I did once. Boy, did it hurt. Always pay attention to your teacher (if you have one.). It sort-of feels
like you are in a rocking chair.

Saddle. It is almost always heavy. Make sure you’re prepared for the weight.
So, do you get the golden rules?

1). Never freak out. It will make your horse scared.
2). The only time to ride without a helmet is, well, almost NEVER!
3). Ride carefully. Only do things you don't know with an adult, and a helmet.
4). Have fun, but be safe at the same time.
